Sprinter door lock issue

On the Volvo, the sensor was integrated into the door latch mechanism itself, so you might need to pull the door panel to get a good look. If you're uncomfortable poking around with the wiring, I'd honestly recommend taking it to a shop. These electrical issues can be tricky, and you don't want to accidentally short something out. Thanks again for the help Took your advice and brought it to a mechanic. Turns out it WAS a faulty contact signal, just like I suspected They found a broken wire in the door wiring harness and fixed it for a reasonable price. Crisis averted
