Sprinter Electric climate control problem

Climate control issues on my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter Electric I've got about 166623 km on it The climate control panel is completely dead I'm getting an error in the memory the heating barely works and the AC won't even turn on I'm guessing it's some kind of electronic faults maybe something with the temperature sensor Has anyone dealt with climate control weirdness like this before I'm worried about the HVAC system I did read that the cable or plug connection of the component could be defective

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Mercedes Sprinter Electric with 166,623 km experienced a dead climate control panel, heating issues, and a non-functional AC, likely due to electronic faults or a defective temperature sensor. The problem was suspected to be a faulty cable or plug connection. After taking the vehicle to a workshop, it was confirmed that a defective plug connection was the cause, and the issue was resolved for 95€, restoring full functionality to the climate control system.

Sounds familiar I had a similar problem with my Sprinter though mine is a diesel I'd start by checking all the connections to the control panel itself Electronic faults are a pain Did the error memory give you any specific codes

Thanks for the tip Where exactly are the connections to the control panel I'm not super experienced with this kind of thing And no the error code was just a generic 'climate control failure' It's driving me crazy

Right generic codes are useless Honestly based on what you're describing especially with no specific codes and also since the heating output of the heating is too low I would suggest taking it to a workshop It could be a faulty connection but chasing electronic faults in the climate control without proper tools and knowledge can be a nightmare

Thanks I appreciate the advice I bit the bullet and took it to the shop Turns out it was a defective plug connection as suspected They charged me 95€ to fix it Everything is working perfectly now
