Starting problem with Mercedes GLK after changing a light

Hi, I have a 2009 Mercedes GLK with a diesel engine and 400,000 km on the odometer. I recently replaced a low-beam headlight bulb and after turning the steering wheel to access it from the wheel well and turning off the car, I can't start it now. Locking/unlocking, radio and interior lights work, but I get no lights on the instrument panel and cannot start the car. The windows also won't open or close. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Check the battery connections to ensure they are clean and tightly secured. A loose or corroded connection can cause electrical issues. If the connections are fine, try jump-starting the car to see if the battery might be weak. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!

None of them are the fault, is there anything to do when the theft protection is on if they are the ones that are the fault?

Try resetting the anti-theft system by locking and unlocking the car with the key fob several times. If that doesn't work, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "on" position without starting the engine, then back to "off" and repeat this a few times. This might reset the system. Let me know if this helps or if you have more questions!
