Starting problems after alternator replacement on a BMW X7

Hello everyone, I have a 2020 BMW X7 with a diesel engine and 157,000 km on the odometer. Recently, I had the tires changed from winter to summer tires, and since then the car won't start. The garage ran a diagnostic and found that the alternator was defective. After replacing the alternator, the car still won't start. You can hear the starter motor turning, but it stops after a few seconds. It doesn't work even with a new jump starter. Does anyone have similar experiences or suggestions as to what the problem might be?
