Stepwgn Brake Pedal Feedback
Summary of the thread
A 2005 Honda Stepwgn owner experienced unusual feedback from the brake pedal, initially suspecting air in the lines, but bleeding them did not resolve the issue. The problem was later identified as being caused by undervoltage affecting the brake system's performance. The solution involved replacing certain components and conducting an electrical system check, which resolved the issue.

Undervoltage? I hadn't considered that. Can you explain the connection between the electrical system and the hydraulic brakes? I'm not familiar with that.

Newer vehicles rely on stable voltage for optimal ABS and brake assist. Fluctuations can interfere with the brake booster and caliper operation. I suggest getting it checked at a workshop. Better safe than sorry.

I took your advice and had it inspected. It was undervoltage causing issues with the brake system. I had to replace some components and get an electrical system check. The repair cost me 240€. Your insight was most helpful.

Strange pedal feel can be tricky. Have you checked your vehicle's voltage? Undervoltage can cause erratic behavior in modern brake systems.
