Stepwgn uneven engine running
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Honda Stepwgn with 242,540 km is experiencing uneven engine running, a check engine light, and jerking during acceleration. The issue could be related to the fuel injectors, but a similar problem in another vehicle was caused by an exhaust system leak affecting oxygen sensor readings and fuel mixture. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle inspected by a workshop, which confirmed the exhaust leak as the cause.

Thank you for your suggestion. Could you please elaborate on how the exhaust leak affected your Opel Astra's performance? I am trying to understand if the symptoms align before I proceed with further investigation.

Sure, the leak messed with the oxygen sensor readings, which then threw off the fuel mixture. The engine misfired like crazy, similar to what you're describing. Honestly, best bet is to get it checked by a workshop, they'll pinpoint the exact cause.

I appreciate the advice. I took it to a local workshop, and you were right. It was indeed a leak in the exhaust system. The total repair cost was 265€ Thank you!

Rough idle and jerking on acceleration sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra, turned out to be a leak in the exhaust system. Have you checked for that? Could also be the crankshaft sensor.
