Stilo Fuel Pump Issue

I own a 2007 Fiat Stilo with a gasoline engine. The engine doesn't start reliably, and occasionally stalls when idling. The check engine light is on, and the engine runs rough. A faulty cable or plug connection is a very plausible cause, and a far easier fix than replacing the pump itself. Given that you've considered these issues, my recommendation would still be to bring your Fiat to a workshop. They can perform a thorough diagnostic and determine the root cause. You might be lucky and it's just a loose wire, but better to be sure before throwing parts at it.
