Stilo seat heating issue
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Fiat Stilo owner is experiencing a seat heating issue, with the seat not warming and an error code appearing. The problem is suspected to be the heating element. Another individual with a similar experience suggests checking the fuses first, but confirms that the issue was indeed the heating mat, which they had replaced at a workshop. The original poster plans to have the repair done professionally.

Fuses are fine. Were your symptoms identical, and did you also think it was the heating mat?

Yep, sounds exactly like what happened to me. Ended up being the heating mat. It's a PITA to replace yourself unless you're seriously into that stuff. Just took it to the shop and let them deal with it.

Thanks! Looks like a workshop visit is in order. Got a quote for about 390€, including the heating mat and labor. I'll post about the repair when it's done.

Hey man, I had a similar thing happen in my Stilo. The seat just stayed cold. Did you check the fuses first? That's the easy thing to rule out before diving deeper.
