Strada fuel flap issue

I tried the key fob release multiple times, no luck. The manual release in the boot doesn't seem to do anything either. And yes, other electrical stuff is acting up intermittently. What exactly was the issue with yours and how did you fix it?

Okay, if the key fob and manual release are both dead, then it's probably not just a simple fix. When mine did that, it turned out to be a faulty actuator. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it too much yourself. You'll probably need to get it hooked up to a diagnostic machine to properly diagnose it. I'd say take it to a workshop; they'll sort it out way faster and you won't risk breaking something else.

Thanks for the info! I suspected it was something beyond a simple fix. Dropped it off at the workshop today. They confirmed it was a defective actuator and quoted 210€ for the repair. Should have it back tomorrow. Appreciate the insight!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Strada. The fuel flap just wouldn't budge. Did you try using the key fob to release it? And did you also notice other electrical stuff acting weird? Like the interior lights or maybe the central locking?
