Strada oxygen sensor error
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Fiat Strada owner experienced a check engine light and an error related to the oxygen sensor heater circuit, along with a slight increase in fuel consumption. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection to the sensor. A similar issue was resolved by checking the wiring and having a workshop conduct professional sensor testing, leading to the decision to inspect the wiring and seek professional help if needed.

Thank you for your reply. The fuel consumption is a bit higher than normal. How did you exactly pinpoint if it was the sensor or the wiring?

Honestly, I didn't. I checked the wiring quickly, but then I took it to a workshop. They ran some proper sensor testing. Turns out, it was just easier to let them handle it in the end. Saved me a lot of time and potential frustration.

I appreciate the advice. I will inspect the wiring more closely. If the issue persists, I will schedule an appointment with a workshop for professional sensor testing and component replacement. The estimated cost is around 95€. Thank you again.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Strada. Check engine light and all. I would also check the sensor itself. Sometimes they just fail. Is your fuel consumption significantly worse, or just a little?
