Strada Power Window Reset Issue
Summary of the thread
After replacing the battery in a 2006 Fiat Strada, the power windows stopped functioning, and a VCDS diagnostic showed a window regulator initialization error. This issue might be related to a coding problem. Attempts to reset the windows manually were unsuccessful, suggesting that a workshop visit for re-initialization with specific diagnostic tools was necessary to resolve the problem.

Yeah, I tried the standard window reset – holding the switch down, then up, and holding again. Didn't work. Any specific steps you took on your Peugeot?

I tried the same basic reset on my Peugeot, no luck. Turned out to be some coding issue that only the workshop could fix with their diagnostic tools. They probably had to re-initialize the regulator. A shop visit might be your best bet.

You were right. A workshop visit and a 290€ bill later, the window regulators are re-initialized. Seems a specific diagnostic tool was needed. Thanks for the input!

Interesting problem! Something similar happened on my old Peugeot 307 after the battery died. Windows wouldn't work, and there was some weird error code. Did you try resetting the window regulators?
