Strada rough engine running
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Fiat Strada with a gasoline engine is experiencing rough running and stalling at idle, with the check engine light on and jerking during acceleration. The suspected cause is a defective ignition coil, particularly focusing on the cable or plug connection. After checking, it was confirmed that the ignition coil's cable connection was faulty, and replacing it resolved the issues.

Thanks. Do you remember any specific details about the ignition coil issue on your Corsa? Was it visibly damaged or was it something else?

It wasn't visibly damaged, but the mechanic said the connection was faulty. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop to be sure. Could be the same problem.

You were right, it was indeed the ignition coil. The cable connection was defective. Replaced it, and the issues are gone. Total cost was 95€ Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my old Opel Corsa. The ignition system was causing misfires. Check the ignition coil pack, it might be the culprit.
