Hey, that sounds like a pretty similar situation to what I had with my Ibiza. Your symptoms sound a lot like mine when my throttle body needed cleaning and they had replaced the spark plugs as well. It was quite a relief when it was resolved. Just out of curiosity, can you remember what you paid for the repair? Has anything else come up since then?

Hey, this story sounds really familiar to me. In my Ibiza, the fault was in the throttle potentiometer and the internal mechanics of the throttle valve were defective. The repair in the workshop cost €345, but it really solved my problem and since then the car has been running like clockwork again and I've had no further problems. I hope it goes as smoothly for you, keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! The stories all sound pretty similar to mine, and I think I now have a bit of an idea of what I'm in for. I just hope it won't be more expensive than €345. I haven't had any other problems with my Ibiza so far, so I'm hoping it will return to normal after this repair. I will keep you posted!

Hey mate, I had the same problem with my 2012 Seat Leon. In my case it was the spark plugs and the ignition coils that were broken. Your engine sounds just as bad as mine did back then. The garage replaced both things and the car ran smoothly again afterwards. That sounds unpleasant, but it could be worse. Probably time for a visit to the garage. Hope this helps a bit!
