It sounds like the same problem. I brought it to a workshop. They confirmed the defective connection and replaced it, which resolved the issue.

I had a similar issue with my Stream. Check the air circulation and heater core. It might also be related to the climate control system or something within the dashboard panel impacting the HVAC unit.
