Stream fuel flap release failure

My 2011 Honda Stream (gasoline engine) is giving me a headache. The fuel flap release isn't working. I get an error message, and I can't open the fuel door anymore. Plus, some other functions seem to be acting up. Mileage is only 36040 km. Anyone else run into this?

Summary of the thread

A 2011 Honda Stream is experiencing a fuel flap release failure, accompanied by an error message and other malfunctioning functions. A similar issue was resolved by replacing a defective electric actuator, which was identified as the cause. It is suggested to have the vehicle checked at a workshop to confirm the problem and proceed with necessary repairs.

Good day. I also have a Honda Stream and experienced a similar problem. Was there any work done on the key fob recently?

Thanks for the reply! No, no work on the key fob recently. The fuel flap issue just started out of the blue. What exactly was your problem?

The fuel flap on my vehicle also stopped opening, and I had the same error. In my case, the electric actuator was defective. I recommend taking it to a workshop; the eventual repair cost was 210€, due to linkage being defective.

Appreciate the info. I'll book it in for a check. Sounds like the actuator is the likely culprit. Thanks again for your help!
