Supra gearbox slipping

Hi, I have a 2021 Toyota Supra IV with a gasoline engine. I've noticed the gearbox slips/shifts uncleanly and I think it's related to the transfer case oil. Mileage is at 125653 km. Could this be mechanical wear?

Slipping gears on a Supra? Ouch! Given the mileage, it's possible. Have you checked the transfer case oil level and condition? If it's low or looks like metallic sludge, that points to defective gears for sure. Is it making any weird noises?

Thanks! No weird noises, just the slipping. I haven't checked the oil myself yet. Is it easy to check the transfer case oil on this model?

Honestly, checking it yourself can be a pain without the right tools. Given the symptoms and mileage, and to avoid more wear, I'd get it to a workshop. Let them properly diagnose the transfer case before something breaks completely.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and it turned out to be defective gears in the transfer case, exactly as suspected. Repair cost was 330€. Appreciate the help!
