Sylphy AC failure
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Nissan Sylphy is experiencing major AC issues, with the system not cooling and failing to switch on. The initial suspicion is a defect in the valves, although the fuses appear intact, and there is no unusual noise indicating a refrigerant leak. A similar case was resolved by addressing faulty valves, suggesting a workshop visit for proper diagnosis and repair.

Good to know I'm not alone! No, the temperature control seemed fine right up until it died. Any chance you remember what the culprit was in your case? I'm trying to avoid getting fleeced by some random AC diagnostics specialist.

Yeah, same here – temp control was normal. In my case, it ended up being faulty valves. Given that yours won't even switch on, you should probably have it checked at a workshop, might be the same issue, and I ended up paying around 1000€ for repairs. They'll be able to properly diagnose it.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like a trip to the shop is inevitable. Appreciate you sharing your experience. At least I have an idea of what to expect.

I had a similar problem with my Sylphy. Those symptoms sound familiar. Did you notice any changes in temperature control before it went out completely?
