Just had my 89745km service last month and can confirm it was not flagged during inspection. My issue turned out to be less severe, a loose connection at the airflow sensor was causing similar symptoms. The whistling noise was actually air escaping around the charge sensor mount. A technician cleaned the connector, reseated it properly, and checked the air temperature readings with a diagnostic tool. The repair only cost 45€ since no parts needed replacement.
