Tacoma Hybrid High Voltage Error

I'm getting a high-voltage system error on my 2023 Toyota Tacoma hybrid with about 80000 km on it. The error is stored in the error memory. Sometimes the engine just shuts off, and the power is significantly reduced. I've checked the basics, but haven't found anything obvious.

I had a similar issue with my Tacoma. Noticed any weird noises or smells before it happens? It could be a battery problem if it's heavily discharged or even defective. Have you scanned for any specific fault codes?

No weird noises or smells, just the sudden shut-off and error message. I haven't scanned for specific codes yet. I'll try to do that soon, but assuming it is the battery, what did you end up doing?

If it is the high-voltage battery, there isn't much you can do yourself. I would suggest you go to a shop that knows about hybrids. These electrical faults can be tricky, and might even be an inverter issue. In my case, the battery was the problem.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to a local shop, and they confirmed it was a battery issue. Repair came out to about 290€.
