Tahoe Air Suspension Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Chevy Tahoe diesel with 221,820 km is experiencing air suspension issues, including failure to lift, leaning, and error messages. The suspected cause is a faulty bellows valve, indicated by hissing sounds near the left rear when the compressor activates. The solution involves replacing the bellows valve, which requires professional repair due to the complexity of the air suspension system.

Yeah, a couple of codes are popping up about the air suspension performance. And now that you mention it, I do hear some hissing around the left rear when the compressor kicks on. So, you think it was definitely the bellows valve then?

Hissing is a dead giveaway! Yeah, sounds super familiar. I bet that bellows valve is toast. Mine had a tiny split in it. Honestly, unless you're super confident with suspension work, I'd say bite the bullet and get it to a workshop. It's fiddly work and you don't want to mess with the air system without the right tools. Cost me around 590€, but well worth it for the peace of mind.

Thanks a ton for the input! Knew I could count on this forum. Dropped it off at the shop this morning, and they confirmed it's the bellows valve. Quoted me about the same price you mentioned. Hopefully, I'll have my smooth ride back soon!

Dude, that sucks! I had a similar issue with my Tahoe. Is it throwing any specific codes related to the pneumatic suspension? Also, have you checked for any obvious air leaks around the air springs themselves?
