Tahoe Emergency Call System Error
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe diesel with 240,540 km on the odometer is experiencing an emergency call system malfunction, indicated by an error message and warning light. A similar issue was resolved by addressing a defective plug connection related to the control module. The suggested solution is to have a workshop inspect the cable and plug connections and test the control module, with a previous repair costing 95€.

Thanks. Can you elaborate on the control module issue? Were the symptoms identical (error message and warning light), and what fixed it?

Identical symptoms. Couldn't pinpoint it myself. Defective plug connection, they said. I'd suggest a workshop.

Understood. I'll schedule an appointment to inspect the cable and plug connections, and test the control module. Diagnosis: defective plug connection, repair cost 95€. Thanks again.

I had something similar in my Tahoe. Control module issue maybe? I remember the error and thinking it was telematics. Malfunction warning, considered a system reset. Did you check the cable or plug connection?
