Talento Fuel Filter Heater Issue

My 2020 Fiat Talento diesel is throwing a fit. Getting error codes, engine power is down, and it's drinking fuel like there's no tomorrow. Idling is rough too. I'm thinking it's the fuel filter heater – feels like a dodgy connection, anyone else had this?

A 2020 Fiat Talento diesel is experiencing error codes, reduced engine power, excessive fuel consumption, and rough idling. The suspected cause is a faulty fuel filter heater connection. A similar issue was resolved by checking the wiring and plug of the fuel filter heater, which is a known weak spot. The problem was confirmed and fixed for 95€.

Had similar symptoms with my Talento. Check the fuel filter heater wiring and plug. Seems like that's a weak spot on these.

Wasn't too bad to reach, but honestly, I just booked it into the workshop, they sorted it out. Best to get it checked properly, could be other things, but sounds familiar.

Appreciate the advice! Turns out it WAS the fuel filter heater connection, exactly as you suspected. Cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks!
