Good shout on the electrical connections! Where exactly should I be looking? Is there a specific cable or plug connection that's known to be problematic on the Talento?

I've seen some reports of issues with the main harness connection to the fuel rail. Give that a wiggle and see if anything changes. Honestly though, with those symptoms, it really needs proper diagnostics. Time for a workshop, I reckon.

You were spot on about the electrical connections. Took it to a local garage and they found a defective plug connection on one of the injectors. New plug, and it's running like a dream again! Cost me 95€.

That sounds rough! Injection problems can be a pain. Have you checked the electrical connections to the injectors themselves? A loose or corroded plug could definitely cause those symptoms. Is the engine light on? Any codes?
