A faulty throttle valve definitely aligns with those symptoms. Reduced engine power and the check engine light are classic indicators. Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and it turned out the throttle valve was indeed defective. Repair, including parts and labor, came to 265€. Runs like new now!
