Talisman Fog Sensor Error AC Issue

Hey, I've got a weird issue with my 2022 Renault Talisman gasoline. It's showing a fog sensor error, and the AC won't kick on. Also, the windshield washer nozzles seem to be frozen solid even when it's not that cold, and the mirrors aren't heating up. I'm thinking it might be a bad connection somewhere, but I'm not sure where to start looking. Anyone else seen this?

I had something similar happen on my Talisman. Same symptoms basically. Check the wiring and connectors going to the fog sensor itself. It's a common fault apparently and might save you some headaches. Had to replace a corroded connector once.

Interesting. Where exactly is the fog sensor located? Is it easy to access, or do I need to start dismantling half the dashboard?

It's usually behind the rearview mirror, accessible from the inside. But given all your symptoms, a faulty connection would be the first thing to consider. Otherwise, visit a workshop.

Thanks for the tip! I'll check the connections first. Turns out that was the fix - corrosion on a connector. 95€ later at the shop and things are good.
