Talisman rear ventilation flap error

I'm having a problem with my 2015 Renault Talisman diesel. I'm getting an error related to the rear ventilation flap. The climate control seems to be malfunctioning, and the air conditioning isn't cooling properly in the back. The error memory shows a fault. Has anyone experienced this? I suspect it's a defective cable or plug connection.

Hey, that sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Volvo V60. The rear vents stopped working, and it turned out to be a faulty connection. Did you check the wiring harness and the plug leading to the rear ventilation unit? Sometimes they come loose or get corroded.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the rear ventilation unit located in the Talisman? Is it easily accessible, or do I need to remove trim panels?

On the Volvo, it was a pain to get to! Hopefully the Talisman is better. Honestly, if you're not comfortable digging around, it might be worth getting a workshop to take a look. Diagnosis would be easy for them to perform. It cost me 95€.
