Talisman Transport Mode Active Message

My 2018 Renault Talisman diesel is displaying a "Transport Mode Active" message with electrical malfunctions and a non-functional navigation system at 185876 km. I suspect this mode is the root cause. Has anyone encountered this, and is there a straightforward method to deactivate it?

Renault Talisman, eh? I had something similar happen, like a computer stuck in sleep mode. Check your key fob battery first. Silly, I know, but a weak signal can mess with the car's configuration. Also, try a hard reset - disconnect the battery for 15 minutes. Could clear any glitches.

Thank you for the suggestions. Regarding the key fob, is there a specific procedure to ensure the vehicle recognizes the key after replacing the battery? And concerning the hard reset, will disconnecting the battery impact any stored vehicle settings or require recalibration of certain systems?

No special trick with the key fob. Just new battery in, and it should work. As for the battery disconnect, you might lose some radio presets, like losing your favorite channels when the power goes out. But nothing major. Honestly, if it's still acting up after that, it's like trying to fix a broken phone by just restarting it a couple times, probably needs a diagnostic check at the shop.

I appreciate your input. Based on the continued malfunctions, I will schedule a diagnostic check at an authorized Renault service center. The issue appears to stem from the transport mode being unintentionally activated, a configuration error rectified without cost upon diagnostic confirmation.
