Terracan Fuel Flap Release Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2005 Hyundai Terracan diesel has a problem with the fuel flap release not working, accompanied by an error message and other unavailable car functions. The issue is likely due to a defective linkage between the release button and the fuel flap. The recommended solution is to take the vehicle to a workshop for professional repair, which successfully resolved the problem.

Thanks for the reply! I checked the release button, and it seems fine. I don't know where the cable release is located, or what to look for exactly. Is it easy to access?

Okay, so the button is working. The cable runs from the release button to the fuel flap, but honestly, I wouldn't mess with it too much. When mine did that, it turned out to be a linkage issue. Just take it to a workshop; they'll sort it out.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were right it was a defective linkage. Cost me 210€ to fix, but at least it's done. Cheers!

Hey! I've got a Terracan too, and I had a similar issue. Was there anything that might have caused it? Did you check the release button or the cable that goes to the flap?
