Terracan Terminal 15 Ignition Error

My 2006 Hyundai Terracan (gasoline engine) won't start, and the error memory says Terminal 15 ignition positive is interrupted. I'm thinking it's a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone else seen this?

Summary of the thread

A 2006 Hyundai Terracan is experiencing a starting issue with an error indicating an interruption at Terminal 15 ignition positive. The problem is suspected to be due to a defective cable or plug connection. Suggestions include checking the starter solenoid or relay switch for voltage drops. Ultimately, the issue was resolved at a workshop, confirming a defective cable as the cause.

I have a Hyundai Terracan too, and I had a similar problem a while back. Could be the starter solenoid or a relay switch causing a voltage drop. Have you checked those?

Thanks! Where exactly are those located? I'm not super familiar with this stuff, so any pointers would be great!

Honestly, I'm not sure where they are in your model. Given the 'Terminal 15' error and you saying the cable or plug might be defective, it's probably best to take it to a workshop. It could be a circuit break somewhere, and chasing electrical gremlins can be a pain.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to the shop, and you were right – defective cable. Cost me 95€ to fix. Appreciate the help!
