Terrano Defrost Flap Issue

My 2006 Nissan Terrano with a diesel engine is acting up. The defrost air distribution flap isn't working right, and there's an error logged. Heating output is weak. Could a bad cable or plug be the cause? Anyone else seen this on their Terrano? Getting frustrated!

I had something similar on my Terrano. Is the blower motor working on all speeds? Did you check the heater core for blockages? What's the error code?

Blower motor seems fine on all speeds, and the heater core should be clear. I don't have the error code right now. Did replacing the cable fix your problem?

I also suspected the cable. I couldn't troubleshoot it myself, so I took it to a workshop. Maybe a pro could help you too.

Took your advice and had it checked. A bad cable/plug was the problem, like we thought. Cost 95€. Thanks for sharing your experience; it really helped.
