Territory Terminal 30 Error

Hey, I'm having a weird electrical issue with my 2019 Ford Territory with a gasoline engine. The mileage is around 144025 km. I'm getting a 'Terminal 30 continuous plus interrupted' error. The car starts really poorly. Could this be a short circuit somewhere? Checked the fuse box and all seems fine. Ignition switch looks ok too. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my Territory. Same error message. Vehicle start poorly, too. Have you checked the battery? Is it heavily discharged or defective?

Yeah, the battery was the first thing I checked, seemed okay. But how would that throw a 'Terminal 30' error? Isn't that related to the charging system or something?

In my case, the seemingly "okay" battery was the culprit. It was causing a voltage drop that triggered the Terminal 30 error. I suggest you go to a workshop to test all your car's electrics, especially the battery.

Thanks a lot! I'll take it to a workshop. Turns out the battery was indeed defective and heavily discharged. Cost me 290€ to replace it. Problem solved!
