Territory Tire Pressure Warning Light

I've got a 2020 Ford Territory Electric with about 69,000 km on the clock. Recently, the tire pressure warning light keeps popping up. The speedometer shows a 'Tire pressure too low' error, even though I've checked the tires and they seem fine. I even inflated them to the recommended pressure. I scanned for error codes, and there's definitely something stored related to tire pressure. Has anyone experienced anything similar? I am not really sure what could be causing this.

Sounds familiar. I've had a similar issue with my Territory. The tire pressure sensor might be the culprit. Are all your tires affected, or just one?

Thanks for the quick response! It seems to be only one tire, the front passenger side. Does that point more strongly to the sensor being the issue? Is there anything I can check myself before taking it to a shop?

Yep, one tire points to the sensor. I had the same thing. Probably just a dead sensor battery. You could try swapping the tires around to see if the error moves, but honestly, it's probably easier just to get it checked at a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on - it was indeed the tire pressure sensor battery. They replaced the sensor, cost me about 280€, and now the error is gone. Appreciate the help!
