Thalia AC Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2000 Renault Thalia/Symbol diesel has an AC issue where the system doesn't cool or switch on, and the warning light is illuminated. The error memory indicates a fault with the AC control unit. A similar case required professional repair, suggesting that taking the car to a workshop might be necessary to resolve the issue.

Yes, the error points to the AC control unit. What did you do?

I also thought it could be the AC control unit. In the end, I had to take it to a workshop. The repair was expensive - 980€.

Thanks for the info. I'll take it to the workshop and prepare for the worst.

I had similar AC issues with my Thalia. Does the error memory point to the AC control unit?
