Thanks for the reply! That sounds similar. When you say defective cable or plug, was it difficult to find? I am not that confident doing a full repair, but I want to understand if it's a simple fix or something complex.

The identification process necessitates diagnostic equipment to pinpoint the exact location of the fault. Given your description, rectification may necessitate specialized tools and expertise. I, therefore, recommend a qualified technician to conduct a thorough inspection.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a local workshop, and you were right! It turned out to be a loose connection in the airbag system. They charged me 95€ to fix it. Everything seems to be working perfectly now.

Greetings. I experienced an analogous predicament with my 2014 Volvo V40. The SRS light illuminated intermittently, indicative of a potential malfunction within the airbag system. The underlying cause was traced to a defective cable or plug connection.
