Thalia MOST Bus Fault

Thanks, I checked the fuses and they're fine. I also considered a wiring issue, but the MOST bus uses fiber optics, which makes it harder to diagnose without specialized equipment. Do you remember which module was faulty, or any specific troubleshooting steps you took?

I didn't get to the bottom of it myself, to be honest. After checking the fuses and finding nothing, I took it straight to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty control unit on the MOST bus. These systems can be very sensitive. It might be best to get it checked by someone who knows car electronics. It can become expensive very fast.

Understood. I appreciate you sharing your experience. Looks like a trip to the workshop is inevitable. I've already prepared myself for the potential 1000€ repair bill. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar. I own a Thalia/Symbol and had similar symptoms: no audio, nav dead. I'm no expert, but it felt like the car's brain had a hiccup. Did you check all the fuses? Sometimes it's just a simple fix, like a blown fuse. Or maybe the data transmission is faulty, like a broken wire in a network cable.
