Thalia PCV Valve Issue

Oil consumption seems normal. I haven't specifically checked the breather hoses, but I gave them a quick look and didn't see anything obvious. Where should I be looking for cracks or collapses, and could that cause all these issues?

Yes, even a small crack in a breather hose can throw off the entire crankcase ventilation system, leading to your symptoms. Given the smoke and power loss, though, a faulty PCV valve is the more probable culprit. It's best to get it properly diagnosed; it could save you money. A workshop should be able to pinpoint it quickly.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and you nailed it – the PCV valve was faulty. 360€ later, and it's running well again. Appreciate the help!

Sounds like a classic PCV issue on those engines. Are you noticing any excessive oil consumption along with the smoke? Also, have you checked the breather hoses for cracks or collapses?
