Thalia Symbol Gear Display and Starting Issue

I'm having issues with my 2011 Renault Thalia/Symbol gasoline. The gear selection display isn't working, cruise control is inoperative, and sometimes the engine won't start. There's an error stored in the memory. I suspect the clutch pedal switch. Has anyone else experienced this?

That sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms with my Thalia/Symbol. It was like a domino effect. The non-starting issue is the worst, isn't it? It could very well be the clutch switch. Did you check the connection? Maybe a loose cable?

Yes, the error memory pointed directly to the clutch switch. I'm usually quite hands-on, but this was a bit beyond me. I'd suggest visiting a workshop. It cost me around 95€, and they sorted it out quickly. Better safe than sorry!
