Tiburon AC and Climate Control Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Hyundai Tiburon is experiencing issues with its AC not cooling and climate control malfunctioning. The mechanic identified an error related to the rear ventilation, suspecting a defective cable or plug. Another owner suggested checking the flap actuator, which controls air distribution, as a potential cause. The recommendation is to have the issue professionally diagnosed and repaired at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is the flap actuator located? And what should I be looking for specifically? I am not the most mechanically inclined, so details would be greatly appreciated!

It's part of the HVAC system, controlling air flow to the rear. Honestly, without proper tools and knowledge, diagnosing that wiring issue isn't easy. My advice? Take it to a workshop. Mine cost 95€ to repair.

Thank you so much for the advice and confirming my suspicions! It sounds like my mechanic is on the right track, and it's reassuring to know a rough estimate of the repair cost. I will proceed with the repair at the workshop.

Sounds familiar. I have a Tiburon as well, and I had a similar issue with the air distribution. Have you checked the flap actuator? If the rear passengers aren't getting any air, it could be that.
