Tiburon Airbag Warning Light
Summary of the thread
The airbag warning light is on in a 2009 Hyundai Tiburon, possibly due to a bad cable or plug. A similar issue was resolved by checking the airbag sensor connections under the seats, which can sometimes become loose. Since the initial check didn't reveal any issues, it is suggested to take the car to a shop for a diagnostic to identify the problem accurately.

Thanks, I checked under the seats, and everything looked good. Where are the cables or plugs usually defective? Could this be related to an airbag recall?

The airbag system is complex. A loose connection can be anywhere. Since you checked the easy spots, I'd take it to a shop for a diagnostic. It'll probably cost around 95€.

I appreciate the advice. I'll schedule an appointment with a technician to check the airbag system. Thanks again!

I had a similar issue with my Tiburon, the SRS light came on and off. Did you check the airbag sensor connections under the seats? Sometimes they can get loose. Was anything happen before the airbag light came on?
