Tipo GPS Antenna Defect

My 2022 Fiat Tipo, gasoline engine, has a GPS issue. Error stored in memory, navigation system shows no GPS reception. Suspect the GPS antenna is defective. Anyone else seen this?

Indeed, the error points to an antenna fault. Have you checked the antenna cable connection to the GPS module? Sometimes a loose connection causes signal interference, presenting similar symptoms as a defective antenna.

Where is the GPS module located? Is it easily accessible?

The GPS module's location varies, however, it is often integrated within the head unit, or behind the dashboard. Due to the nature of integrated navigation systems, I would advise having the antenna replaced at a certified workshop. The repair cost should be in the region of 200€.

Thanks for the info! I brought it to the workshop, as suggested. The GPS antenna was indeed defective. Replaced it, and the navigation is working again.
