Yeah, similar thing happened to me, it was always raining before it completely failed. Never checked the control module myself. Honestly, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop, it was the easiest thing to do. Turned out to be a loose connection.

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Tipo. Are the proximity sensors clean? Did you check the blind spot sensors? Obstacle detection went haywire for me before it completely failed. It could be faulty wiring.
