Tips and experience wanted: Cruise control system on 2017 VW Polo not working

Hey guys, I'm a bit worried about my 2017 VW Polo, gasoline with 96543 km mileage. Recently I've been having problems with the cruise control system and there's an error stored for cruise control. The last time I visited the garage, I wasn't exactly satisfied. Have you had similar experiences with the cruise control or with your mechanic? Any tips on what I should do in such a situation? Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2014 VW Golf, also petrol. The control unit was defective and it paralyzed the cruise control. No error codes, but same symptoms. The mechanic said it's not a common problem, but it does happen. The good news is that it can be fixed. It sounds like this could be the case for you too.
