Tire Pressure Sensor Issue on AMG GT

Good shout. How did you check the sensors on your BMW? Did you need some fancy diagnostic tool or is there a simpler way? I've only got a basic code reader, nothing too sophisticated. If it is the sensor, I wonder what the air valve condition is like, might be worth replacing it at the same time, especially with the mileage on it.

I didn't have a fancy tool either. The garage diagnosed it for me, turned out one sensor was kaput. Given you've already got the error code pointing to the sensor, I reckon it's worth getting it checked out professionally. Save yourself the headache. A faulty tire pressure sensor can cause a lot of trouble.

Cheers for the advice. Booked it in at a local garage. Turns out it was indeed a faulty sensor. They replaced it, and the error is gone. Cost me 280€ all in. Lesson learned I suppose. At least the air pressure in the tires is correct now.

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old BMW a while back. The low tire warning kept popping up even though the pressure was fine. Was driving me nuts! Did you try checking if the sensors are actually sending a signal? Maybe one of them is just completely dead.
