Tire pressure warning ABS and steering issues

The valve, huh? I hadn't considered that. Was the BMW acting up in the same way - ABS and steering issues as well or were those just consequences from driving with lower pressure?

Yes, the ABS and steering issues happened because the faulty valve caused gradual air loss in one tire. Initially, the tire pressure appeared normal upon quick inspection, hence the delayed discovery. Given your symptoms, the valve may well be the culprit. I recommend professional assessment to rule out other potential causes.

Thanks for the pointer! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on – defective valve. It was causing a slow air leak that the tire monitoring system was picking up. New valve fitted, tires inflated, and all lights are gone. Cost me about 280€, but at least it's sorted.

Interesting symptoms. Have you checked your tire valves? I had a similar issue with my BMW a while back – consistent tire pressure warnings, ABS light, and impaired steering. Are you sure none of your tires show a slight bulge or other damage?
