Titan low brake fluid
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Nissan Titan owner reported a low brake fluid level and a strange brake pedal feel, raising concerns about potential issues. The problem was likely due to worn brake pads, especially given the mileage and the brake warning light being on. It was advised to check the brake pads before adding fluid, as topping off could lead to overfilling once new pads are installed. The issue was resolved by replacing the worn brakes and the brake fluid.

It's got 104672 km on the clock. The light is on now. If it's just worn pads, is it okay to add fluid or should I not touch it until I get new brakes?

With that mileage and the light on, my bet is still on worn pads. Adding fluid now might overfill the reservoir once you install new pads and compress the calipers. Best get it checked before topping it off; worn brakes can cause serious issues.

Thanks for the advice! Ended up taking it to the workshop. You were right, it was worn brakes. Cost me 480€ to get them replaced and a fluid replacement, but at least it's sorted now.

I had something similar happen on my Titan. How many kilometers are on it? And is the brake warning light on? Could be a master cylinder issue but more likely your brake pads are just worn down. Check those first.
