The error message specifies a hall sensor fault. I inspected the wiring harness and connectors, but found no visible damage or corrosion. Could you describe your experience in more detail? Was it also the hall sensor and did you inspect the sensor itself?

Yes, the error code pointed directly to the hall sensor in my case as well. I considered checking the sensor directly, but without proper diagnostic equipment, I was hesitant to proceed further. Ultimately, I took it to a certified workshop, where they confirmed the faulty sensor connection.

Understood. Considering your experience, I will proceed with taking it to a trusted workshop to diagnose the hall sensor connection and replace it if necessary. The estimated cost is 95€.

I had a similar issue with my Titan's tailgate. Was the error message specifically referencing the hall sensor, or was it a more generic tailgate malfunction code? Did you check the harness for any visible damage or corrosion?
