Toro Oil Level Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2022 Fiat Toro diesel involved a persistent error message and warning light related to the oil level sensor, with diagnostics suggesting a defective cable or plug connection. A similar problem in another vehicle was resolved by identifying and addressing corrosion in the connector. Upon inspection, a bad connection was found and replaced, followed by recalibration, which resolved the issue.

Thanks! Could you tell me where the connector was located? Did you see corrosion or damage that helped?

Yeah, mine was right on the sensor itself, down near the oil pan. It was green and crusty, super obvious once I got under the car. But honestly, with those symptoms, and if you're not comfortable poking around, a workshop might be the best bet.

Thanks for the guidance. I inspected the cable and plug connection and found a bad connection. After replacement and recalibration, the issue is resolved. Total cost was 95€.

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar problem with my old Volvo V70. Same symptoms: warning light, error message, the whole shebang. Turned out to be a dodgy connector corroded to hell. Check those connections real close, man.
