Tourneo fuel filter heater error

I'm experiencing issues with my 2023 Ford Tourneo diesel. It has 202851 km on the clock. I'm getting an error related to the fuel filter heater. The symptoms include reduced engine power, poor engine response, higher fuel consumption, and uneven idling. An error is also stored in the error memory. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection to the component. Has anyone experienced similar issues?

I had similar symptoms with my Tourneo. Was the engine stalling, especially on cold starts? Also, have you checked the fuel lines for any blockages or leaks? Power loss and poor engine response can be related to the fuel system.

Thanks for the reply. The engine isn't stalling completely, but it feels like it wants to sometimes, especially when it's cold. Which specific cable/plug connection was faulty in your case, or did you just replace the whole heater unit?

To be honest, I didn't diagnose it myself. I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was related to the fuel filter heater and its connection. Saved myself a lot of hassle.
