Tourneo Hybrid Software Fault

Experiencing electrical malfunctions and navigation issues with my 2019 Ford Tourneo hybrid at 97333 km. Error memory shows a fault, and onboard diagnostics says control unit programming is implausible. Similar experiences?

Sounds like a software bug. Have you checked for software fixes via Ford's website or the FordPass app? Recalibration of the affected control unit might be necessary. Getting any U codes via OBD?

I checked FordPass, but nothing available. Can recalibration be done independently, or is specialized equipment needed? OBD reader shows U0100 and U2101 codes. What do these mean, and are they related to unit recalibration?

U0100 typically means lost communication with the ECM/PCM, and U2101 indicates a control module configuration incompatibility pointing to a corrupted or misconfigured ECU map. Find a reputable shop with IDS (Integrated Diagnostic System) to do a full system reflash. A generic OBD tool won't be enough.

Thanks for the expertise. I'll schedule an appointment with a Ford workshop for the software issue and recalibration. The workshop quoted 240€ for the repair. Thanks again for the help.
