Toyota Noah blower motor issue

I've got a 2021 Toyota Noah with a gasoline engine and I'm running into a weird climate control issue. The blower motor isn't working at all. I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. I suspect it might be the AUC sensor, since the auto recirculation isn't kicking in either. Anyone else experience something similar with their HVAC systems? I'm thinking it could be a bad connection somewhere.

Interesting. I had a similar problem with my 2018 Opel Insignia. The climate control went haywire, and the blower just quit. In my case, it also affected the air quality sensor. Did you check the cable and plug connection of the AUC sensor?

Yeah, I gave the plug a quick look, but didn't really dig deep. Where exactly was the bad connection on your Insignia? Was it obvious once you found it?

I wish I could tell you it was a simple fix I did myself, but honestly, I took it straight to the workshop. They mentioned something about a faulty connector on the sensor itself. If you're not seeing anything obvious, might be worth having someone take a look.

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it. Turns out you were right – took it to a shop and it was indeed a defective connector on the AUC sensor. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Now the blower is working perfectly again.
